Man killed during Perth lightning storm
AAP
A man found dead on the footpath in Perth's eastern suburbs is believed to have been struck by lightning.
The man, who was in his late 50s, was found on King William Street in Bayswater about 6.25pm on Tuesday, about the same time a lightning storm hit the Perth metropolitan area.
A police spokeswoman says the coroner will establish the cause of death, but it's believed the man was struck by lightning.
