Man killed in Perth train station assault

A man is dead following a large brawl at Perth's Esplanade Busport and train station.
Police say the incident, which happened about 3.30am on Wednesday, is being treated as a suspected homicide after a 26-year-old man died at Royal Perth Hospital.
Media reports suggest the victim was stabbed during a brawl involving up to 20 people.

The Esplanade station was reopened on Wednesday afternoon, although all but one entrance remained closed.
Commuters can only access the station through the entrance at the corner of Mounts Bay Rd and William St.
