Man killed, child hurt in WA ute rollover

A man who had a toddler in his truck has died after the vehicle rolled in southwest WA.

The 52-year-old man was driving a truck fitted with a water tank on Tuesday afternoon in Yarloop when he lost control, causing the vehicle to roll. He suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.

The three-year-old child who had been with him sustained a shoulder injury and was airlifted to Perth Children's Hospital as a precaution.
