Man found dead near Fremantle's E-Shed Markets

A 37-year-old man has been found dead with apparent stab wounds near the E-Shed Markets in Fremantle, south of Perth.

Police were called to the location, a popular tourist attraction, at 9.30pm WST last night.

Investigators are on the scene this morning and have sealed off a large area near the D-Shed.

Police are yet to release a statement on the incident.
