Man fined $3500 over quokka attack video

A young man has been fined $3500 after admitting to filming another man allegedly attacking a quokka on Western Australia's popular Rottnest Island.
Corey Douglas James filmed Harrison Angus McPherson allegedly kicking the animal, then posted the video on social media in February.
James was fined in Fremantle Magistrates Court on Monday while McPherson, who is yet to enter a plea, had his case adjourned until May 26.
