Man dies in WA police pursuit

An internal affairs probe has been launched into a police pursuit and crash that killed a man in Perth.

Officers say that when they attempted to pull over a car in Ballajura on Sunday night, the driver failed to stop.

During the pursuit, the car left the road and struck a tree.

The male driver died at the scene.
