Man charged with murdering girlfriend

A 36-year-old man has been charged with murdering his girlfriend in their Perth home.

The 42-year-old woman was found by a neighbour with neck injuries in the back courtyard of a block of public housing units on Cooper Street, Midland, on Wednesday afternoon.

She was declared dead at hospital while her partner has been refused bail to appear at Midland Magistrates Court on Friday.
