Man charged with murder in WA's Mid West

A 29-year-old West Australian man has been charged with murder following an alleged altercation with another man.

Police allege the pair fought in Meekatharra, in the state's Mid West region, on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old victim received serious head injuries and was taken to Meekatharra District Hospital before being flown to Royal Perth Hospital. He died on Thursday.

The 29-year-old man was charged with murder late on Thursday and is due to appear in Newman Magistrates Court later on Friday.
