Man charged over slashing in Perth street

A man has been charged with the attempted murder of another man, whose throat was slashed in a random attack in a Perth street.
The victim, 44, needed 36 staples to close the knife wound after he was attacked in Burswood on March 27.
A 24-year-old Bassendean man will face Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with more than 10 offences, including attempted murder.
