Man charged over puppy theft in WA

A 30-year-old man has been charged over the theft of a puppy after allegedly also being caught stealing at a Perth shopping centre.
Police were called to Garden City shopping centre in Booragoon on Monday and arrested the man for stealing from a shop.
Officers then searched an address in Spearwood where they found the puppy, which had been missing from Butler since May 4.
