Kimberley death in custody investigated
AAP
The death of a woman in a police lock-up in Western Australia's Kimberley region is being investigated in a five-day inquest.
Ms Mandijarra was arrested on the evening of November 29, 2012 after officers spotted her drinking and yelling with a group of other women on an oval in central Broome, and she was found dead in a cell hours later.
A forensic pathologist was unable to specify a cause of death but did find it was consistent with diabetes-related infections.
