Joyce pie man banned from Qantas flights

The Perth man who shoved a lemon meringue pie into the face of Qantas boss Alan Joyce has been slapped with a lifetime ban by the national carrier.

Tony Overheu, 67, will no longer be able to fly with Qantas and its partner airlines, which includes Jetstar, Cathay Pacific and Emirates, after last week's pieing incident which was a protest against corporate support for same-sex marriage.

He faces multiple charges over last Tuesday's business breakfast event and will appear before Perth Magistrates Court on June 7.
