Indian Navy ships open to public in WA

Visitors to Fremantle will be able to explore three Indian Navy ships which are taking part in a week-long training exercise with the Royal Australian Navy.

The three ships, Shivalik, Jyoti and Kamorta, will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm on Wednesday at Fremantle port.

Commander Australian Fleet, Rear Admiral Stuart Mayer said the bilateral exercise, now in its second year, showed commitment to increasing maritime security in the Indian Ocean region.
