Hunter missing in WA desert country
AAP
A hunter is missing in remote desert country in Western Australia.
Reginald George Foggerdy, 62, left Laverton on Tuesday on a hunting trip with a relative. He was last seen leaving the Shooter Shack, a camp about 170km east of Laverton, on Wednesday but did not return, WA police say.
He was reported missing on Thursday morning, sparking an air and land search involving police, the State Emergency Service and local mine workers.

Mr Foggerdy was carrying a rifle but could have become lost and has no food or water, police say.
Maximum temperatures in the area reached the low 30s on Thursday and will be similar, with the chance of a thunderstorm, on Friday.
