Human remains found in WA murder probe

Police have found human remains as a result of an investigation into the suspected murder of a West Australian man.

Lindsay Edward Judas was 55 when he was last seen in February 2013 in Broome, where he had travelled to go fishing. His loved ones have not heard from him since.

While the remains are yet to be identified, police have notified Mr Judas's family.

They have also found a blue Mitsubishi Triton that was the subject of appeals for public help.

Police on Monday charged a 38-year-old remand prisoner at Broome Regional Prison with his murder.

The man and a 23-year-old woman of no fixed address also face charges of stealing Mr Judas's car and personal property.

Police urge the public to contact them if they have any information about Mr Judas's disappearance.
