Hot Chip to support WA fire victims
AAP
British band Hot Chip is doing what it can to support Western Australia's bushfire-affected communities, donating a percentage of ticket sales to a disaster-relief fund.
Frontier Touring will donate $20 of every Hot Chip ticket sold to the Lord Mayor's Distress Relief Fund, helping victims of the Yarloop and Waroona fires, which killed two people and destroyed 162 houses in WA's South West.
The current balance of the distress fund stands at more than $4.5 million, according to Perth Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi.
