Guns and drugs found in country WA raid

Police have uncovered guns, drugs and hydroponic cannabis equipment in a raid on a home in rural Western Australia.

Police found nine unsecured guns, three cannabis plants and 800 grams of the drug on the raid in the town of Kukerin, in WA's Wheatbelt region.

A 48-year-old Kukerin man has been charged with a string of offences including cultivating a prohibited plant and possession of a drug with intent to sell and a 49-year-old woman will also face court.

He has been bailed to appear in the Narrogin Magistrates Court in April.
