A trial date has been set for four men accused of murdering a young man in Western Australia's Goldfields region.

Police found the dismembered body of Beau Davies, 24, at a house on Ware Street in South Kalgoorlie in February last year and also forensically examined a property on Hamilton Street in nearby Boulder.

Christian John Gomis of Kalgoorlie and Stephen Gregory Gandy, Steven Roberts and Jayden Albert Kett, all from Boulder, were charged with Mr Davies' murder.

In the WA Supreme Court on Monday, a five-week trial was scheduled to start on May 25.

Appearing via videolink was Gandy from Hakea Prison, Roberts from Albany Regional Prison and Kett from Casuarina Prison, while Gomis was in court.

A case management conference will be held on February 20 because the case is complex and will involve many witnesses.
