A woman has become the fourth person to drown in Western Australia over the weekend following the deaths of three men in separate incidents.

Police said the woman was swimming in Kalbarri's Murchison River, in the Mid West region, just after 5.30pm on Sunday when she was spotted struggling in the water and was not breathing when she was pulled out.

A 24-year-old Estonian man drowned while swimming with a friend at Moses Rock Beach at Wilyabrup, in the state's South West region, about 1.30pm on Saturday.

In Perth, a 35-year-old snorkeller died after he was pulled from the water at Mettams Pool in North Beach on Saturday morning.

A 45-year-old diver in Port Kennedy was rushed to Rockingham Hospital on Saturday afternoon, but died on Sunday.
