Flood assistance given to WA communities

West Australian communities damaged by heavy flooding have been declared a natural disaster, triggering financial assistance.
The flooding affected a large part of the state between February 28 and March 8.
The federal government says help will be provided to Ashburton, Carnamah, Chapman Valley, Cue, Dalwallinu, Greater Geraldton, Meekatharra, Mingenew, Morawa, Mount Magnet, Mukinbudin, Murchison, Northam, Sandstone, Three Springs and Yalgoo.
