First stage of Gateway WA completed

The first stage of Gateway WA, Western Australia's largest ever road project, has been completed.
Prime Minister Tony Abbott and Premier Colin Barnett opened the Grand Gateway section of the $1 billion jointly funded state and federal government project on Sunday.
Gateway WA is a major upgrade of the arterial road network around the Perth Airport and Kewdale, Forrestfield industrial areas to cater for increased passenger and freight movements.
