Fears for WA man missing for a week

Western Australia police hold concerns for the safety of a 42-year-old man who vanished over a week ago.

Alan Ray Collins was last seen boarding a train in Merredin, in the central wheatbelt, on August 21.

WA Police believe Mr Collins may have been travelling to Perth, but has not been in contact with family or friends.

He is described as being fair skinned, 185cm tall, of medium build with brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to call authorities.
