Eyes in the sky nab speeding driver in WA
AAP
A motorcyclist allegedly ran red lights and drove on the wrong side of the road during a high-speed pursuit in Perth's southern suburbs.
A police helicopter monitored the rider after he failed to stop for officers in Spearwood about 10.30pm on Saturday.
The rider was later seen by the police air wing crew abandoning the bike in Leda and attempting to hide a backpack in a garden bed.

Officers on the ground were directed to a man, who was hiding in a carport, and arrested him.
A 25-year-old man has been charged with failing to stop, reckless driving, no authority to drive and driving a vehicle with imitation or replica number plates.
He is expected to appear in court next month.
