Ex-WA teacher charged over student assault

A former Perth teacher has been charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old male student in 1975, stemming from allegations raised in the child abuse royal commission.
The 70-year-old who taught at a college in South Perth between April and July that year was charged on Thursday.
The Safety Beach man is expected to face Perth Magistrates Court on Friday on four counts of carnal knowledge.
