Earlier on Monday, a 66-year-old man died when a car he was a passenger in collided with two trucks in Banjup.

The 22-year-old male driver and a 69-year-old male passenger were taken to Royal Perth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have since charged the driver of one of the trucks, a 21-year-old man, with dangerous driving causing death and two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.

He will appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court later on Tuesday.

Separately, a 29-year-old motorcyclist is in a critical condition in hospital after colliding with a street sign in Perth's north.

He was riding in Malaga on Monday evening when he apparently lost control.

Police are appealing to anyone with dash cam footage or information to help with investigations into the three incidents.
