Elderly WA man charged with wife's murder

An elderly Perth man has faced a bedside court hearing charged with murdering his 83-year-old wife.
Police found the woman's body on Wednesday morning after they were called to the couple's Alexander Heights home.
Harold Barclay, 85, was due to appear in Joondalup Magistrates Court on Thursday, but instead had a bedside hearing from hospital and will face Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court next Wednesday.
