Drunk driver seven times over legal limit

A driver was allegedly seven times the legal blood alcohol limit when he was found slumped behind the wheel of his car in Perth's eastern suburbs.
Police found the 33-year-old Belmont man at the intersection of Great Eastern Highway and Brighton Road in Rivervale on Monday evening.
He has been charged with driving under the influence and will appear in court at a later date.
