Bullets fired at Gosnell home in drive-by shooting

Police are investigating after as many as five bullets were fired into a home in Gosnells in Perth's south-east early this morning.

The gunman opened fire from a car, shooting through the windows of the Harry Street home, at around 5am this morning.

At least two of the bullets shot straight through the home's windows and into second-storey rooms.

Police say no one was injured in the shooting but Ballistic Officers are on scene, trying to determine whether any fragments from the attack could help them identify a suspect.

The shots were fired from the road around 5am this morning.

Neighbours say that just two weeks ago, they spotted a car outside the home that matches the same description and a group of men got out and shouted death threats over the fence.

The man who lives at the property wasn't home at the time of the shooting, according to detectives, but his son - who lives in the house behind him - was at home, and ran outside after hearing the gun shots. He then called police.
