West Australian Director of Public Prosecutions Joseph McGrath has been appointed a judge of the WA Supreme Court.
Attorney General Michael Mischin said Mr McGrath had more than 20 years of experience as a litigator and almost seven years as the DPP.
Mr McGrath's appointment to the WA Supreme Court will fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Justice Ralph Simmonds earlier this year.
