AAP
A delay in obtaining expert evidence is holding up the case of a man accused of murdering teenager Hayley Dodd 17 years ago, a Perth court has heard.
The 17-year-old girl was last seen walking along a road near Badgingarra, 205km northeast of Perth, in July 1999 but her body has never been found.
Francis John Wark, who has previously pleaded not guilty to her murder, appeared in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on Wednesday via video link from Acacia Prison and was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on November 30.
