Dashcam shows driver falling asleep at wheel

This is what it looks like to fall asleep at the wheel.

A Western Australia driver has posted video showing the moment they nodded off while driving on the Great Northern Highway near Herne Hill.

Posted on Dashcam Owners Australia’s Facebook page earlier today, the video shows the car drifting onto the right-hand side of the road before smashing into a tree at 75km/h.

The video was filmed on April 3 about 4.40am, a time when most of us are still in bed.

Ironically, the song playing on the car stereo was the Chris Brown number 'Don't Wake Me Up'.

Remarkably the driver was not badly injured in the crash.
