Dangerous prisoner escapes Goldfields jail

A dangerous prisoner is on the run after escaping from a prison in Western Australia's Goldfields region.

Police say 21-year-old Dylan Doughty broke out of Eastern Goldfields Regional Prison in Boulder about 6.45pm on Wednesday.

They say Doughty was on remand for property offences and members of the public are urged not to approach him as he is considered dangerous.
