Cyclist photographed 'suspicious' WA fire

Police want to speak to a bearded man seen taking photographs of a suspicious bushfire in Perth on New Year's Eve.

The blaze is believed to have been sparked in bushland in a light industrial area of Bibra Lake about 5.30pm on Tuesday.

It burnt through a large part of bushland before firefighters extinguished the flames.

Investigators are looking for a man who was seen riding a bicycle in the area and carrying a large camera.

Anyone with dash-cam vision or any other information is also asked to come forward.
