Cowan result might be fortnight away
AAP
A result in the WA seat of Cowan, which could help decide the election result, is too close to call and a result could be a couple of weeks away.
Labor candidate and counter-terrorism expert Anne Aly is leading Liberal incumbent Luke Simpkins by 959 votes with 77 per cent counted as counting resumes on Tuesday.
But up to 7500 postal votes in the Perth northern suburbs battleground are expected to favour Mr Simpkins.

Counting in WA would prioritise Cowan but a final result might not be known for two weeks, Australian Electoral Commission WA manager Marie Neilson said.
