Cousins leak cop withdraws throw-out bid
AAP
The case of a Perth policeman who allegedly leaked information about former AFL star Ben Cousins' arrest to his journalist girlfriend will proceed to trial.
Daniel James Erik Jamieson previously indicated to the Perth Magistrates Court that he would apply for a permanent stay of proceedings, but that application was formally withdrawn on Friday.
A three-day hearing will be scheduled at a trial allocation listing on December 22.

Jamieson had his bail extended and does not have to appear at his next court date in person.
