Bushfire emergency at Pinjar in Perth's north

An emergency warning is in place for homes on Perry Road in Pinjar. (9NEWS) 9NEWS
Lives and homes are under threat from a bushfire in the City of Wanneroo in Perth's north.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services says people on Perry Road between Cypress Road and Anderson Road in Pinjar are in danger and need to act immediately to survive.

The bushfire is moving fast in a north easterly direction.
It is out of control and unpredictable.
The cause of the blaze is unknown.
