AAP
Authorities in Western Australia have issued a watch and act alert for a bushfire that could threaten properties south of Perth.
A bushfire alert has on Friday been issued for people in the vicinity of Lake Clifton Road and Forrest Highway in the Shire of Waroona due to an uncontrolled fire moving in a north-easterly direction.
People are being advised to leave if they can, or make final preparations to defend their homes if they are prepared to stay.
