Burnout driver's double trouble with cops

A driver who did a burnout in front of a police car then crashed into another one while fleeing has been charged with a string of offences.

Police say the 22-year-old man from Midvale in Perth's north-east faces charges including reckless driving, breach of bail and possessing a controlled weapon.

He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court later on Wednesday.
