Boy dies in WA scooter accident

A teenage boy has died after he was knocked off his push-scooter by a car and into the path of oncoming traffic in Perth.

The 16-year-old boy was riding his scooter in Cloverdale when he collided with a vehicle at a pedestrian crossing on Tuesday night, police said.

The boy was then hit by a second vehicle and died at the scene.
