Attempted murder charge after SA stabbing

A young woman has been charged with attempting to murder a man she knows by stabbing him in the chest in South Australia.

Officers were called to reports of a domestic dispute in Kilburn just before 1am on Saturday and a 22-year-old man was taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said a 22-year-old woman jumped a rear fence and ran away but was quickly found and also taken to hospital for medical treatment.

She will face Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
