Assault charge for WA high school teacher

A West Australian teacher has been charged with assault after he allegedly grabbed a 13-year-old student by the back of the neck and pushed him to the ground.
The incident at a Halls Head school on Tuesday was reported to police, who charged the 48-year-old man with common assault on Friday.
He is due to appear in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on September 19.
