Arrest warrant for Canning candidate
AAP
Independent candidate for the Canning by-election Teresa van Lieshout has had a warrant issued for her arrest after failing to appear in court.
Van Lieshout failed to appear in Fremantle Magistrates Court on Tuesday to face two charges of breaching bail and one count each of stealing and wilful unlawful damage.
She told AAP the charges related to her cutting a wheel clamp off a car on her property and discarding it.
