Alleged citizen's arrest leads to charge

A man who allegedly took part in a citizen's arrest in Perth has been charged with grievous bodily harm.
Police were called to a home on Moir Street, Perth, just after 2am on Sunday over reports that a man had tried breaking in and three other men were detaining him.
Officers arrived to find the detained man, 30, with serious head injuries and he was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.

One of the men who allegedly held him, a 31-year-old from Perth, was charged with grievous bodily harm and will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Monday.
