WA toddler fatally run over in driveway

A 16-month-old girl has died after being run over by her mother in a driveway in Perth's south, police say.
It is believed the toddler was struck by a Saab station wagon as her mother reversed out of the driveway of her Bibra Lake home on Sunday just before 8am (WST).
The toddler was taken to Fremantle Hospital but later died.

Major crash officers are investigating.
