WA policeman charged with sexual offences

A 48-year-old West Australian policeman has been stood down from all duties after being charged with sexual offences against a relative.
The Peel District senior constable faces a string of charges including eight counts of sexual penetration of a lineal relative.
The offences are alleged to have occurred between 2001 and 2011.

He will appear before the Rockingham Magistrates Court later on Wednesday.
