WA man charged over girl's crash death

A West Australian man who crashed his car into a cow in the remote Kimberley region has been charged over the death of his 13-year-old passenger.
Police said the 43-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death.
He was driving a Suzuki Swift on Derby Highway about 25km south of Derby when he collided with the cow just before 8pm on December 20, last year.

All four occupants suffered serious injuries and a 13-year-old girl, who was a front seat passenger, later died at Derby Hospital.
The man is due to appear in Broome Magistrates Court on June 6.
