WA bikie-linked men charged with extortion

Five men linked to the Comanchero bikie gang have been charged with extortion offences involving a Perth business.

West Australian police raided properties across the metropolitan area on Thursday, including the motorcycle gang's Northbridge clubhouse.

A small business in the same suburb was allegedly the target of the extortion.

A string of charges were laid against a 32-year-old Perth man including for extortion and firearm-related offences.

Four others, ranging in age from 26 to 48, were also charged with extortion.

Two of them were also charged with drug-related offences.

All five men are due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court later on Friday.
