A commonly prescribed medication that's used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is slowly coming back into supply across the country.

The drug Vyvanse has been in short supply over the past year, with patients struggling to fill prescriptions due to manufacturing issues.

According to the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), the shortage of Vyvanse 50 mg capsules has been resolved.

The 30mg tablets however are still in short supply until at least March 31, the TGA warns.

The supply of Vyvanse 20 mg and 70 mg strengths has not been impacted.
