Visa programs to boost Singapore ties

Young people from Australia and Singapore will be able to undertake short-term work or study under a new reciprocal program to start in August.
Up to 500 places will be available each year under the work and holiday-maker program, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull announced in Singapore on Friday.
Singaporeans will also have exclusive access to a new long-term. multiple-entry visa from January 2018 making it easier to come to Australia for business and pleasure.
