A Canberra building that looks like a UFO will soon be open to anyone with an internet connection to explore.
The Shine Dome, nicknamed the "martian embassy" by some locals, has received a $10,000 heritage grant so the Australian Academy of Science can develop a virtual tour.
Three Canberra World War I memorials on Anzac Parade will be conserved with an $80,000 grant, ACT Senator Zed Seselja announced.
